Da Boom Room Premiere was a success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You had to be there to understand what I’m about to tell you. The place was Club Rockwell, the time was 11:45pm, and the joint was packed to capacity. They came from all over Crown Heights, Bedsty, Flatbush, Clinton Hills, The Bronx, New Jersey, and South Carolina. The night started with a few drinks and toast for those who could not attend. In attendance was my brothers Aaron and Rick Harding (It meant a lot that yall was in the house), my Cousin Mo, my cousin Zach, Hass, My boy Interscope Ken (Thanks 4 the support, you got the head promotional job), my sister in-law Pat, my peeps Slice, Scraborough, Norman, La (B-Block), Fat Cat & Wify, Don Quan, Von, Murder, Braids (The Tattoo King), Barry (Mr. Watermelon Man), Mike, Corey, Stretch, Sheila, Brenda, Lisa, Lauren, Tanya, Ms. Boyd,Melissa, Imani (from Harlem), Imani (from Brooklyn), To my lil’ bro Hippy (welcome home), Pat Burke, Dialeo, Big-O, June, Serge, and the rest of my family and friends. Big up, to the artist who came thru to represent the realest movement in Hip Hop: Big-O, Life, Wolfgang (I told yall it was hot!!!), 50/50 (Six Tell Meda he owe me), Big Penz,(I am sorry to hear about pops) Verbal Needles ( I got you son), Mouse (U got next) and Zito (Stay focus) just to name a few.

The night was filled with bottles being popped, Henny being sipped and clouds of that Bob Marley flowing thru the air. It was definitely the place to be in Brooklyn on Friday 24 th of September. The DVD started with out a hitch! The 72’ screen was enough to keep the crowd from straying off into their own conversations, while the talented artist from Da Boom Room did their thing. It was as if I was seeing the birth of a brand new baby boy, and I was the proud father. This was history in the making of something big. I really did not understand the impact it was going to have, until I saw and heard the response of all the people in attendance. I even received some inspiring words from club owner Darnell, who told me I was giving young men and women a chance to succeed in the hood. Damn! That comment made my night along with all the others that came my way. God was definitely in the house. Praise the Lord!
